About
David Miner has been involved in dancing since 1977, when he first learned to dance at the Arthur Murray dance studio in Mississippi. Through the years, David has trained, taught and open dance studios for both Arthur Murray and Fred Astaire in several states.
In 1995, David opened his very own independent dance studio in Mobile, Alabama. The David Miner Ballroom/DanceSport Academy has become one of the largest dance studios along the gulf coast and continues to grow.
The studio offers both group and private lessons for all ages. Students can select from a wide variety of dance styles
Swing
Ballroom: waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, tango,
Latin: rumba, cha cha, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, bolero
Argentina Tango and more.
David Miner Ballroom/ DanceSport Academy offers dance parties with live bands and/or DJ’s on the weekends.
The studio can also be rented for certain events, just call and ask for more details.
